Steve Gold Lists $10.8M Soho Loft for Family Expansion

Million Dollar Listing New York alum, Steve Gold, known for his real estate prowess, is preparing to list his luxurious Soho loft for $10.8 million. What’s prompting this move you may wonder? Well, it seems there’s a new addition on the way! Gold’s stunning three-bedroom, 3½-bath penthouse occupies the entire top floor of a historic five-story building located at 22 Wooster St., constructed back in 1920.

Despite previously showcasing the co-op in an Architectural Digest feature and initially listing it for $9.95 million in December 2021, Gold decided to hold off on selling, even turning down an offer. “We weren’t ready to move, and decided to stay,” revealed Gold, who currently resides in the loft with his partner, Luiza Gawlowska, and their adorable daughter, Rose. However, with the family expanding once again, Gold shared exclusively with Gimme Shelter that it’s time to seek out a larger residence.

While Gold did invest in a $7.3 million estate in Greenwich, Conn., back in 2022, close to his hometown of Stamford, he clarified that it’s solely an investment property with no immediate plans for relocation. The Soho penthouse underwent a comprehensive renovation, boasting exquisite features like arched windows, 11-foot ceilings, exposed beams, and custom Venetian plasterwork by artist Benjamin Lai.

The light-filled loft, accessible via a key-locked elevator, offers a spacious great room overlooking charming cobblestoned streets, ideal for entertaining guests. Additionally, the property includes a sky-lit chef’s kitchen, a luxurious main bedroom suite with dual walk-in closets, and a spa-like bath with radiant heat floors, among other lavish amenities.

The building, nestled between Grand and Canal streets, seamlessly blends historic charm with modern elegance, making it a desirable luxury living space in the heart of Soho. As Gold prepares to part ways with his beloved loft, eager buyers have the opportunity to acquire this exquisite piece of New York real estate history. Stay tuned for more updates as the listing process unfolds!
